Richard Furhoff has taken some of the best landscape shots you’re ever likely to see but an increased emphasis on cgi backgrounds and automotive work presented a great opportunity to refresh his site.
What we did
Richard’s precise vision of how his site should look meant our challenge was to create that look from his existing site and integrate that look into his Photoshelter account, ensuring a seamless user experience. Further Photoshelter customisations were made to complete the minimalist look that Richard sought.
What Richard said
“From our very first contact, working with Steven has been an absolute pleasure. He is responsive, intelligent and insightful and a damn good web developer.
Prior to contacting Steve, I had consulted with another web designer who tried to talk me out of my Photoshelter hosting arrangement and “up sell” me into features and services in which I was just not interested.
Steven on the other hand immediately ‘got it’. He understood what it was I wanted – scalability, full Photoshelter functionality, an updated aesthetic (not a complete re-branding!) and he counseled me on the pros and cons of various approaches to meet my goals and fit my budget.
Throughout, Steven was completely professional and personable and exhibited a very thorough knowledge of the Photoshelter environment. He was able to seamlessly customize and integrate both the WordPress front end of my site with the Photoshelter hosted ‘back end’.
What struck me most though was his calm, thoughtful approach to his work. I found him very easy to talk to – like we were old friends. He was patient and took the time to listen to me without pre-empting any of my suggestions.
The work speaks for itself. I am more than satisfied with the end result!
I have no hesitation in unreservedly recommending Steve for your web design needs, and I anticipate working further with him in the future.”
